It was a combination of photoshoots, setting everything up for scenes, and general BTS footage worth a look or two, followed by a 2:14 minute long section of Bloopers. Audio/Video Quality: Screwing Wall Street: The Arrangement Finders IPO: A Parody was presented in anamorphic widescreen by director Manuel Ferrara (and Kayden) for Evil Angel. The technical crew was shown in the BTS but were otherwise uncredited, the stock shots of iconic images from New York City’s financial district added in to the otherwise generic office and bedroom settings of the four sexual trysts. The flesh tones were accurate, the framing of some scenes a bit off, but the overall feel of the visuals somewhat different from Manuel’s usual gonzo releases. The audio was offered up in 2.0 Dolby Digital English but there was no separation noticed that I could figure out, and the dynamic range was pretty limited too; the scenes coming from quickly shot gonzo; the guerilla shooting style favored by pornographers everywhere, the music credited to “The Forgotten 45’s”.

Body of Review: Manuel Ferrara is one of the most sought after performers in the industry, his directorial efforts at places like Evil Angel showing that he makes wise choices behind the camera as well as in front of it. His upcoming release of what is billed as a parody is called Screwing Wall Street: The Arrangement Finders IPO, Manuel and his wife Kayden trying something new with a former intern that didn’t make it on Wall Street, Veronica Vain. Veronica was in each of the four scenes, two lesbian scenes (one each with Stoya and Kayden), one with Manuel, and one with Mick Blue; each focusing on the newcomer exploring her fantasies in a movie departing from Manuel’s usual method of shooting porn. The feature elements played like a low budget cable version of the blockbuster “Wall Street”: from years ago mixed in with an infomercial for the sugar daddy/sugar baby website but it was a nice change of pace from Manuel’s often excellent gonzo work even if not on the same level at all. She and power player Manuel come to a hot, heavy "arrangement" in his office, sharing a frenzied fuck flavored with choking and spanking. I’ve watched most of Stoya’s scenes since she began in porn and never seen her believably in such a role so I have to give credit for trying something outside her usual range, the grumpy annoyed attitude given in several little bits leading up to the scene trying very hard to establish the character but falling short (I blame the writing as Stoya has always proven herself as a capable actress but nobody was credited with writing the screenplay). Summary: Screwing Wall Street: The Arrangement Finders IPO: A Parody by director Manuel Ferrara for Evil Angel was derivative as a feature with porn level acting and decidedly limited feature elements borrowing heavily from Hollywood but the sex was pretty good, newcomer Veronica Vain showing she was sexually better than last year’s flash in the pan Belle what’s her name, the totality of the production coming across as an infomercial but meriting a rating of Recommended all the same. The characters were underdeveloped, the situations generic to the usual stereotypes, and the rest of the production less stimulating than Manuel’s gonzo outings but it was a cute marketing gimmick for Kayden’s latest financial venture, this time steering clear of mortgage scams for a field she is better equipped for. In short, Screwing Wall Street: The Arrangement Finders IPO: A Parody reminded me of why I often wince when a feature director tries gonzo for the first time or, as in this case, an accomplished gonzo director tries his hand at features, the potential still there to hit a home run but not yet realized so give this one a look and let me know what you think when it comes out later this month.
