Audio/Video:Playgirl's Romantic Desires distributed by Wicked Pictures, is presented in 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound in Full Screen format. The lighting in each scene was decent with some minor shadowing. The flesh tone was realistic, clear, and crisp The audio portion in the BTS at times had the tendency for the voices to crack and sound garbled and scratchy. As mentioned in previous reviews, the change up in the background music tends to drown out the vocals of the performers and becomes to " heavy metal" for what was to be a romantic setting .

Overview: Playgirl titles seem to have a hit or miss quality about them. Not much changes with each release nor does the cast. In Romantic Desires I honesty couldn't see Jada Fire , Nick Manning Penny Flame ,Marco Leon as the romantic types to be used in this title. Jada is a very strong woman who roles in other titles comes across as too "ghetto", Nick's too harsh and comes off as very cynical at times, Penny though beautiful in her own ways could use more enthusiasm in her "acting" and Marco Leon just wasn't the type to get any reaction from me.. I can safely assume with the vast amount of footage which was shot before they stopped production, fans of the Playgirl's titles really wont see anything new till next year. The sex is the same robotic cycle that last about 20 minutes, not enough to over heat your libido but enough to try to bring it to a warm simmer. The solo scene was ok, I just couldn't get into with Danger or with any of the previous men that did the solo's. I guess you really have to watch it a few times for the juices to start flowing. Granted he is very good looking and his lips look like they could be nibbled on all night long. I did like what he was packing and hope that he does get more scenes in other titles. The bonus sex scene with Faith and Marco Leon you can skip. There was not special about it. If this title was to be marketed as a romance genre then they should have taken out scene 1 and scene 3 found something else that fit the criteria they wanted to get across. If Playgirl wants to focus on one market then find the staff and the writers to make the scenes better. Granted the remaining 4 scene were good and had that taste of romance and sensuality that caters to that part of a women's mind but choosing the men to bring that part which keep one glued to the TV wasn't all there.

Scene 1:
Bad Kitty
Harmony, Nick Manning

The scene opens with Nick walking in with a bowl of milk in his hands and goes next to the caged Harmony letting her take a few licks from it. He unlocks the cage and he removes Harmony's top caressing her body. Nick lifts her on top of the cage spreading her legs wide and begins to eat her out. Harmony then gives him head to which they go into a standing doggie against the cage. From there they go into missionary and he pulls out and pops onto her inner thigh.

Scene 2:
Saxophone
Alexis Malone, Randy Spears

One of the best in the entire DVD, Randy starts the scene playing the saxophone at a club. The music here was extremely beautiful and seductive. Each note lure Alexis deeper into the spell he was casting as he played on. Once the club empties out Randy and Alexis engage in some mutual oral and heated foreplay. He does her standing doggie up against the counter of the bar and then over to missionary to which the pop shot ends up outside of her.

Scene 3:
A Little Of The Top
Jada Fire , Doni Blass

In this next scene which can go either way, Jada and Donni are getting busy in the bathroom. Donni lifts Jada onto the bathroom counter top where they give each other some oral action before he mounts her in the missionary position and then spreads his juice onto Jada's belly .

Scene 4:
Siren
Penny Flame , Reno

This next well done scene starts off with a carnival style club setting with Penny dressed in a long flowing blue skirt and seashell bra. With an under water theme the Siren Penny enchants one of the patron Reno with her sultry voice and body. The seduction begins with them engaged in some intense foreplay which leads into mutual oral. They work their way into doggie and missionary with Penny then switching over to RCG and then back to missionary. Reno's pop shot is inside of Penny's mouth

Scene 5:
Bite Into Her
Marie Luv, Marco Banderas

In this next scene which has Marco Marie both dressed in Victorian Era style clothing, again one of the better scenes, Marie is outdoors under a moonlit sky drinking a glass of wine waiting for her mate. Marco then comes up behind her and starts the slow seduction. He starts with her neck and works his way downwards. There is a lot of sensual kissing in this scene and tenderness. After some intense foreplay and oral action the couple gets so into each other that you cant take your eyes off the screen. They go from standing doggie to RCG, CG missionary with Marco's pop shot going on her breast.

Scene 6:
Bedside Manners
Shayla LaVeaux, Johnny Castle

In this final scene we have the beautiful Shayla LaVeaux as a private duty nurse who is in charge of one patient that has been serious disfigured and is awaiting the removal of his bandages after surgery. As Shyla slowly removes the bandages from his face one thing leads to another as Johnny lends a hand. With each touch of his hands on hers the excitement level begins to rise in both of them. With the bandages off and their clothing they each get to work on the other. After some slow teasing oral action, Shyla straddles his hip to ride him CG then over to RCG. Johnny turns her over and does her doggie then mission with his pop shot going to her breast.

Final Thoughts: If I had to toss a coin to rate Playgirl's Romantic Desires it would be one hell of a toss up. Taking into consideration the cast and the beautiful set used in four out of the six scenes, poor choice in change up music, poor lighting, the one scene were the male talent didn't even seem too enthused to be there and the solo scene with Danger who I feel should have been used in a full scene instead of a solo, all made for a second viewing which still didn't persuade me to give it a rating of no other than a Rent It. Eventually when they run out of footage which was shot roughly about 2 years ago, they will have to start to produce newer material. As I mentioned before it's a hit or miss with the Playgirl titles. First they can start with using more attractive looking men. The ladies without a doubt some are extremely beautiful and can carry a scene with any man as long as there is some chemistry which is lacking in two of the scenes. If it sounds that I am being harsh, well yes I am. As a female and one that enjoys watching porn I except so much more from Playgirl as I do other companies who want to cater to the women's market. Romance is about seducing not only the mind but the body and taking those emotions from within ones body to the extreme. It's not about watching the clock and not giving your all in the performance.
