The Movie:

You'll want to know going into this two disc set from Evil Angel that a lot of the material in this set has been easily available elsewhere for a while now. Jules Jordan's work with Aurora Snow and Gauge has proven to be really, really popular – and for good reason – and now pretty much all of their work together is available in one handy-dandy set in a 'director's cut' that adds some footage to some of the scenes. Essentially, however, this is just a compilation, albeit a very good one.

Disc 1 :

Chapter 1 – Aurora Snow And Gauge: When the scene begins, the two girls are sitting in the back seat of a moving car. Jules encourages the girls to talk to each other about sex but Gauge takes the initiative and starts playing with Aurora's breasts. Once they get to a house, the two girls don't waste any time getting together and Gauge gets Aurora's pants off and starts eating her ass out before she puts a butt plug inside of it for her. While both of these girls have gone on to bigger things, it's nice to check out some of their early work and see just why they've risen in status over the years to become two of the more popular petite girls in the industry. It makes for an interesting contrast to their girl next door good looks, and it also makes for good porn.

The DVD

Video:

This shot on video production looks pretty clean presented here in a reasonably stable 1.33.1 fullframe presentation. There is some mild edge enhancement in a couple of spots and a noticeable bit of mpeg compression evident throughout in the darker scenes. Skin tones look nice and natural, the compositions are alright if rather pedestrian, and aside from the fact that this digital video production looks like a digital video production and as such suffers from the minor defects usually associated with the format, everything looks as good as you'd realistically expect it though with this much material crammed onto the two discs in the set it shouldn't really shock anyone to see some mild compression artifacts in a few scenes. A few of the scenes are over lit in spots and the video looks a bit washed out here but that's not the fault of the transfer so much as it is just a flaw in the original source material.

Sound:

The Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround track is quite sufficient. The dialogue comes through cleanly and clearly as do all of the moans and groans. There is no background music used anywhere during the feature aside from the opening credits and the levels do tend to fluctuate quite a bit from scene to shining scene but aside from that there isn't much to whine about here. The audio is fine.

Extras:

This set is light on features but it isn't barebones. On disc one we find a cum shot recap option, a photo gallery, a cast list, very incomplete filmographies for the two girls, a brief biography for Jules Jordan, and a couple of web-links.

Final Thoughts:

While it's disappointing that there really isn't much here in the way of extra features or new footage, Evil Angel has assembled a solid collection of scenes from two of the best gals in the business. Aurora Snow Vs. Gauge comes recommended.
